The Thrive in 2025 careers fair, held on Thursday, 30th January at the Sovereign Centre, Boscombe, proved to be a tremendous success, drawing in over 500 attendees eager to explore opportunities in employment, training, and personal development.
The event, delivered in partnership with NHS Dorset, connected local residents with employers, training providers, and community organisations offering guidance and support. Live job interviews, interactive workshops, and career advice sessions took place throughout the day, providing attendees with practical tools and direct access to job opportunities.
Organisers expressed their gratitude to all partners, employers, and support providers who contributed to the event’s success. And special thanks was extended to the residents who attended, demonstrating the community’s drive to grow, learn, and thrive.
“This event was all about empowering people with the skills and opportunities to take the next step in their careers, and the turnout exceeded all expectations,” said Kaoutar Addi, Project Lead at the Digital Skills Hub.
With such a positive response, Thrive in 2025 has reinforced the importance of accessible career support and networking opportunities in the local area.
